Architect
Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in conceptual design, design presentation, construction documentation, and construction administration. We are seeking a talented individual with the ability to work both independently in a self-directed manner as well as collaboratively within a project team. Excellent management and communication skills are essential. Strong organizational and technical skills are required. Applicants must be U.S. Citizens or have permanent residence status and hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture. CA Licensure is advantageous.
Education & Experience:
Minimum of (5-9) years' of experience in the United States.
Bachelor of Architecture or Masters of Architecture
Working knowledge of California Building Code & Accessibility requirements
General Knowledge of entitlement and planning approval processes
Architectural detailing skills
Construction administration experience
Mac OS; CAD skills are required. Vectorworks a plus
Graphic and rendering skills a plus
Responsibilities:
Producing accurate construction documents that meet office standards and
appearance in a timely manner.Producing accurate design work under the direction of a senior staff member.
Preparing design presentation documents under the supervision of a senior staff member.
Assisting in researching, organizing, and coordinating project information.
Performing product research.
Communicating with clients, consultants, and agencies.
Researching and code analysis.
Coordinating with project consultants and agencies.
Assisting in project management duties.
Draftsperson
Education & Experience:
3-5 years experience in residential and commercial work with an Architectural firm is preferred
Mac OS; CAD skills are required. Vectorworks a plus
Graphic and rendering skills a plus
Responsibilities:
Assists through all phases of design
Responsible for production of design development and working drawings
Architectural detailing skills
Works directly with consultants and agencies
Work directly under the direction of a Job Captain, Project Manager, or Principal
